Soundinstallation with 12“ vinyl disc
The sound installation with the disc especially recorded for this purpose was the outcome of the show "Madam, I'm Adam – the organisation of intimate relationships”.
The installation consists of two spatially isolated stations with completely automatic disc players, with the help of which, only one side is played back.
Both tracks are compiled from concise phrases from different hits, whereby certain pieces are repeated and others are omitted as if one would search for one's favourite pieces with the gramophone stylus.
Side A, “Ste | reo…”, of the disc plays back the desire for true love, or, eternal love with a particular person.
The second side, “Mo | no…”, in contrast, reflects the happiness of loneliness and independent well-being.
